Quilts in Color
Vendor
I have been a fiber artist for over 50 years. My quilts have been widely exhibited throughout the DC Metro area, including the NMAAHC, and my work is featured in books by Roland Freeman's "Quilts of the Soul" and in Carolyn Mazloomi's "Spirits of the Cloth". I was also featured on a TV segment, B. Smith Live. Back in the day, I danced with the African Heritage Dancers and Drummers and a sang with "In Process" a singing group that was an outgrowth of the accapella group "Sweet Honey and the Rock". Today, quilting continues to be my passion.

My primary support comes from my family and I receive much of my inspiration from my quilting group "We Be Quilters of DC".
