Kyra The Baker, LLC is a teen owned cookie business founded by rising senior, Kyra Lung in 2018. Her main goal was to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Ronald Mcdonald House. More recently, she was inspired to spread her baked treats around Hawaii. As the business expanded, Kyra switched the business to sell mainly cookies in August of 2021. Through cookie days every Saturday/Sunday and pop ups, Kyra has continued to show her passion for baking. As of 2022, Kyra has sold over 5,000 cookies, hosted 2 Nordstrom pop-ups, catered for parties, and continues to share her love for baking cookies. She creates unique cookie flavors like s'mores, Reese's stuffed, brownie, strawberry cheesecake, cinnamon roll, peanut butter pretzel, Biscoff, carrot cake, M&M, and Oreo milk bar. Due to the pandemic, all the baked goods have been made at home and drive through pickups have been at Waialae Iki park.
Kyra has always had a huge passion for baking since she was 10 years old. In the beginning of the business, she created birthday cakes, cupcakes, and brownies for fun. She even created her own baking competition with her friends!
Currently 16 years old, she hopes to bring the world's best tasting cookies to every family & friend in Hawaii! She currently attends Punahou School as a Junior and is excited for her business future.
