Delicious and nutritious, our gourmet mushroom powders are a wonderful addition to many dishes, particularly where you want mushroom flavor, but not mushroom texture. Excellent as a sauce or stew thickener, it works better than flour or corn starch and is gluten free. Delicious with eggs, rice, noodles, popcorn, soups, stews, grilled meats and fish. Mushrooms, and consequently our powders contain glutamic acid, a non-essential amino acid that helps with nerve conduction and memory. Glutamic acid also stimulates 'umami', your 5th sense of taste, which enhances savory, brothy flavors.
