ScrapCycle

ScrapCycle is a community composting organization founded in June, 2020. The organization makes composting easy for anyone in Delaware County by offering a bi-weekly curbside pick-up of food scraps and yard waste. By preventing organic materials from entering landfills, ScrapCycle and its participants are reducing methane gas emissions caused by anaerobic decay while simultaneously pulling harmful carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. Once processed, ScrapCycle member are able to use the community-made compost in their own gardens and any member of the community wishing to make a positive environmental impact through the use of compost is welcome to purchase compost.
