Located in Idaho, we have one acre where we grow vegetables, berries, fruit and nut trees and raise chickens for eggs. We will be opening a farm store on the property this year where we will have other products. We also keep honey bees on the property and grow herbs. In addition to food we produce various crafts and natural soaps and salves.
Use Only Organic Materials Extended Growing Season
Although we are not certified, we only add organic materials to our vegetable garden such as manure, alfalfa, bone meal, blood meal and green sand. We grow in a greenhouse when the outside garden is not in operation and the weather is warm enough.
We are a husband and wife team. Ginnine works full time on the tiny homestead while John works on it weekends and evenings. Each year we add new forms of food to our little one acre piece of land. Our goal is to have as many varieties of food as we can possibly get from our property. We also make natural soaps and salves as well as various crafts.
