Mom-Mom's Polish Kitchen
Served/To Go Foods
Mom-Mom's started as a small food cart selling handmade Polish food in the greater Philadelphia area. We specialize in handmade and homemade pierogi as well as golabki (stuffed cabbage). We opened a small restaurant in 2018 and we were featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives in November of 2020. Due to the pandemic we closed said "small restaurant" and shifted our business to a takeout joint at 1505 South St. We aimed to be pandemic proof and in doing to we decided to start selling our pierogi bagged by the dozen for customers to prepare at home. We now specialize in takeout, wholesale, prepare at home, and catering from our food cart.
We're owned by long time friends Ryan Elmore (that's me!) and Kaitlin Wines. We're named after Kaitlin's Mom-Mom (grandmother) Rita Chmielewski. Rita is 99 years old and lives in Beasley's Point, NJ. She was born and raised in Philadelphia to Polish immigrants. We aim to represent Mom-Mom's Polish American heritage and continue her tradition of good food, kindheartedness, and easy way of being. We love our grandparents, we love food, and we love sharing our passion through...well food.
