Our Non-For-Profit private school was established in 2005 in Columbia, Missouri. We provide a high quality educational program to children ages 1 1/2 to 12 in a dual language setting. We also provide French courses for children as young as 9 months and adults as old as 99. We have collaborated with the Columbia Farmers' Market for several years now in selling French crêpes filled with various products that are provided by the vendors.
I am the Founder and Principal of La Petite Ecole. I am an educator at heart and hold a Master of Arts degree in Foreign Language Teaching from the University of Missouri, as well as an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also from the University of Missouri. I have been teaching French and Spanish to Mid-Missourians for about 30 years now. I am a strong believer in international education as that is a pathway to peace and cultural understanding.
