I am Lori Carpenter of Sarasota Florida and I work with pallet wood and live edge slab wood to create one of a kind tropical art. We started out with the goal to make a sign post for our back yard to commemorate the great vacations and islands we have had the pleasure to visit. Now, almost 7 years later there is no sign in our yard…. but my signs are currently in homes in at least 15 countries and in 48 United States and territories including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico .
My work is inspired by passion of the water, boating, vacations, trop rock music and living in paradise….. Island Time Signs are all about escapism ….
