Discovery Toys is a premier 40 year old company that has been developing or finding amazing, fun, award-winning educational toys and books for children ages birth to adult. Our toys are used by therapists and special education teachers. So many of our products reach the autistic child. I was an independent consultant in the nineties and early two thousands with DT, while raising my five children. I have signed up again, now that I have retired from full-time teaching and have 8 grandchildren and many little people in my life, as my children's friends are having children. We still carry many classic toys that were in the line when I was a consultant in the nineties. Our toys offer so much open ended play, that is what makes them classic and popular. A Discovery Toy booth at your market and fair will be a nice complement to the other offerings and I am sure welcomed by all.
I have been mostly a teacher for the last 40 years. I also have an entrepreneurial side, so I sold DT while raising my five children, so I could set my work schedule around my family. I also worked for about 10 years in Church Ministry. When my children were in high school and college, I became an independent consultant with Boncook.
