Cedar Harvest Trug

A Battlefield Lavender original design, these hardy garden harvest trugs are identical to what our farm visitors use for hand-harvesting their perfect lavender bundles.

Made from sustainable Western Red Cedar, their reddish color slowly assumes an elegant silver-grey color as they mature. The cedar requires no wood treatment as it is naturally water and insect resistant. We used a brand to burn in our Battlefield Lavender logo on both sides.

The ½" leather handles are hand-cut from the finest 8–9-ounce bridle leathers, chosen for its beauty, strength, and longevity from a leather shop in Springfield, Missouri. With a slightly stiff initial wax finish, your handles will soften over time and form to your hand shape, the luxurious finish welcoming you every time you use it. We apply leather moisturizer to our handles once every season and our trugs have endured thousands of uses while still looking and feeling great.

Weather-resistant aluminum and stainless-steel hardware attach the handles to the trug, making for a lightweight and strong garden companion that you can expect to easily last for many years and be passed on to the next generation.
