Battlefield Lavender is located in historic Centralia Missouri and locally grows English, French, and culinary lavender. We are woman and veteran owned, and our family and the farm is carbon negative; 100% solar powered and all fossil fuel use is offset by the farm's forest. Production Practices
Integrated Pest Management Perennial Crops Holistic Management
Lavender is a perennial plant and we practice weed control on the plants themselves using landscape cloth and manually pulling weeds, no chemicals are sprayed on the lavender at any point in their life cycle. We exclusively use drip irrigation to ensure efficient watering and take a holistic approach to growing and harvesting by taking concrete actions to offset the use of fossil fuel with renewable and carbon-absorbing resources.
