A classically trained chef from the California Culinary Academy has returned to his roots, cooking food that incorporates mainland BBQ staples while honoring cultural heritage. We do "Chinese kine Barbeque", featuring dishes like Misoyaki Beef Brisket, Char Siu Pork Ribs and Yuzukosho Pulled Pork.
An overwhelming majority of our ingredients aren't just "local", but are Oahu local. We pride ourselves in using the highest quality products we can get, and we only purchase ingredients from purveyors who feature local products.
Curtis and Shizue
We are a husband and wife team and we love food! We've travelled all over, eating and cooking and sharing our love of food. Curtis started his culinary career back in 1999 and has worked for companies like Wolfgang Puck Catering (in LA), Roy's Restaurant, the Cliffhouse (in SF) and even managed the kitchens/deli/bar for Whole Foods Market. In 2017, we bought a food truck and have been spreading the love and sharing our "Chinese kine Barbecue" all across the island of Oahu! We hope you give us a try!
