Life is full of mountain tops and valley moments. Our soap story was birthed out of a 2020 year, that really needs no explanation. Ryan planned a much needed get away weekend for us to St. Augustine, FL and the Airbnb we stayed at offered homemade soap. Of course, I wanted to know if the lady sold the soap and wanted to purchase some. On our way home from St. Augustine, Ryan and I watched "how to make soap" videos on YouTube for three and a half hours. By the end of the week, we attempted to make our first batch of soap. After many batches, we now have what you get to experience today. This new passion has added a fun hobby to our marriage with incredible skin benefits. Thank you for supporting us and this new adventure God has placed in our path.
With love,
Ryan & Jessica Hebert
JESSICA HEBERT
Hi! My name is Jessica Hebert, I am originally from New Orleans but have found my home in Bradenton Florida. I’m a homeschool mom, entrepreneur at heart, I have a passion for helping people and I love this life God had given me. It doesn’t come without struggle but through the struggle I get to see the goodness of God and his faithfulness. My husband and I started Bayou Some Soap back in 2020 after a crazy year. We escaped to Saint Augustine for the weekend and bought some homemade soap from the lady that ran our a bit Airbnb. On the way back home from Saint Augustine for 3 1/2 hours we watched how to make soap videos since then, God has stretched me out of my comfort zone and I found a new passion for creativity. I’m in love with how nourishing this soap is to our skin. After seeing so many skincare products get hijacked by toxic chemicals it’s thrilling to me to offer something so pure and natural.
