We are a four piece band playing her in the Central Valley. We each come with years of experience playing many venues. Steve is well groomed in playing smooth Jazz, R&B, Funk, Rock and Country styles. He relocated to the Central Valley from the Dallas area where he was playing in a smooth jazz, R&B blues band called Natural Bridge with his late brother and bassist Bill Bernd. They also produced an album together called Permanent Solution and another album Steve produced as a tribute to his late brother, No Boundaries, which currently sells on Apple ITunes , Napster, and many other online music sights. Cheryl Lockett is a well seasoned singer from Merced, following in her father's footsteps as he formed the Merced Blue Notes back in the 50s and 60s and had a song that was featured in Respect, starring Jennifer Hudson. the song was called Rufus written by Ken Craig, Cheryl Lockett's father. Cheryl cultivates, curate and presents an eclectic vision of sound that appeals to a diverse listening audience. The roots music that exemplifies her vocal style is a fusion of modern jazz, vintage blues, classic rock, Afro-Latin and Native American rhythms, with minor key tonality. Her riveting voice and warm style promises any listener an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive composition of music that flows like silk.
Mike Gentry is a seasoned vocalist and bass player, he recently was performing in The Cash Only Band, a tribute to Johnny Cash and The Danny Milsap Band, playing in many venues from the Central Valley, up and down the coast and Oregon, Northern and southern California.
Rene Salazar has played in various bands in the area and is a seasoned drummer and percussionist. Together this quartet is a power house of great music for any age group and venues.
