Hello! My name is Kelli and I am the Agriculture Program chair at Ivy Tech Ft Wayne. I grew up on my family's grain and livestock farm and still actively farm with them today! I have always had a HUGE garden, do home canning, and raise much of my own meat products. I strive to help my students become educated consumers...equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to be smart consumers and/or growers of their own food!
Our produce is grown on campus in our state of the art greenhouse. We have a part time greenhouse technician who works alongside students in every phase of production.
Our goal with "Ivy Urban Farm" is to provide local, fresh, and delicious produce to our community!!!
