I make functional pottery for everyday use. Hand-made pottery enriches the enjoyment of food and life. Craft pottery is a work of art, both decorative and utilitarian. From the concept or function, I envision an object and create a pleasing shape to touch, hold and treasure. Form follows function and I prefer classical shapes. I produce well-designed hand-made pieces at affordable prices. My hope is that you will use and enjoy the pottery in your daily life.

My work consists primarily of mugs, bowls, teapots, vases and plates. While clay and glaze are basic substances — literally from the earth — the potter transforms them into something elevated and elegant.
