• Bushdogs has been a staple at area green markets for nine years selling prepared Maryland seafood and other delights. But the evolution of the business starts with 300 years of Maryland family history on both sides of the founders families.
• In 1971 during summer vacation the professional cooking career of George Bushwaller began in Ocean City, Maryland. Five subsequent seasons of Eastern Shore cooking and recipe perfecting influenced the future direction of his endeavors.
• 1981 brought the opening of Bushwaller’s Seafood Saloon in Frederick, Maryland. Still in existence with the same name and location for 37 years.
• In 1986 a 2nd location was added named Waltzing Matilda’s
• Numerous awards, accolades, and countless long time satisfied lovers of Maryland seafood has made the name synonymous with quality.
