Picaro Farm

I am currently a one person operation I grow shiitake and multiple varieties of oyster mushrooms, but I am equipped to grow hundreds of varieties if there is a demand in the community for something specific. I grow without any chemicals, though I am not certified as an organic grower. I believe mycology is a wonderful science, and I enjoy talking to people about the role fungus plays in our environment. I was a chef for many years as well, and also enjoy sharing and hearing recipes and ideas about preparations and uses for my mushrooms.
