Davenport Abney strives to create art for interiors people are proud of. His firm belief that there is space in the world for everyone sparked a passion to remove the exclusivity of Interior Design. As a Detroit native who recently relocated back to the city principal artist Aaron Davenport Abney began his journey in abstract expressionism because all people deserve quality art at an affordable price if they desire it. One thing remains, carefully styled interiors and quality pieces should be accessible to all.
Interior Stylist, Abstract Painter and friend Aaron Davenport Abney launched his namesake brand after graduating from Howard University to pursue his first love: home design. At age 19, Abney started his career in residential real estate, which allowed him the opportunity to study home design in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Michigan. He firmly believe that art has the power to transform any space which subsequently transforms quality of life.
