Hello!
I’m Noelle, the baker behind New June, my tiny cottage bakery based in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia.
Like much of the world, I baked my way through the pandemic. Each time I would share my creations on my personal Instagram feed, I would receive a deluge of messages from friends asking how they could purchase from me. From the challenge of filling my days, and delighting my family, New June was born.
So why New June?
When I first met my husband David, and on the eve of our eighth month together, we embarked on what he’d coined “New June.” For the entire month of June we promised to only eat from new restaurants, try new cuisines, and cook from challenging new recipes.
New June was an absolute pleasure. We had new adventures and explored our wonderful city, and it is a sentiment that lives on in our family today.
Much like the first “New June,” this great new adventure, my tiny cottage Philadelphia bakery, is here to serve simply sweet pleasures, new flavors, and an exciting menu that changes with the season.
