Empower is a women's health and fitness facility that specializes in exercise and nutrition programming for women's general/hormone health, pre and post natal care, menopause, hormonal disorders, female athletes, and other health-related needs. We are dedicated to meeting each woman where they are at in their stage of life to instill confidence, self-acceptance, and control over their health. We teach exercise modalities, nutritional choices, and mindset practices to help women live and feel their best. We hold classes, personal training sessions, open-gym, and other various community events.
After receiving my Bachelor's Degree at VCU in Health and Exercise Science, I obtained by NSCA Personal Training Certification and NASM Women's Fitness Specialist Credential. I have devoted much time, energy, research, and focus to helping women feel and live their best through nutrition, exercise, mindset, and community. After being diagnosed with a hormonal disorder that wreaked havoc on my life, relationships, and personal wellness, I began to dedicate my expertise to managing this through all of the components mentioned above. I opened EMPOWER for women who are walking a similar journey who want to gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to manage the aspects in life that they feel are holding them back from their full potential. I am now healthy, thriving, and have a beautiful daughter born in September 2021- a light of hope in my health journey as doctors said this would not be possible due to my hormonal disorder.
