About
Adamah Farm is located in the Piety Hill neighborhood of Central Detroit and have been selling produce at markets and through our CSA since 2018. We are part of a larger community development organization that has been serving Central Detroit since 1993. The mission for Adamah Farm Central Detroit is to provide high quality fresh produce to our neighborhood families and customers, while providing employment training and leadership development opportunities to our neighborhood teens through working on all aspects of the farm.

Integrated Pest Management Non Gmo Crop Rotation Extended Growing Season No Till Holistic Management
We strive to provide nutrient dense and delicious produce to our customers. We accomplish this by focusing on using healthy growing practices, which starts with the quality of the soil; ensuring that it has the proper nutrients and organic matter. As much as possible we try not to spray pesticides but when we do we only use OMRI Certified products.

Evan Neubacher is the farm manager and Cathy Bindschadler is the brains behind all of our mushrooms. We are also supported with help on the farm and at our markets by lots of wonderful teens from central Detroit through our employment programs.
