R&D Foods is a specialty food maker. We currently have Poppa’s Gourmet Hot Sauce a blend of sweet and spicy, perfectly balanced to give you lots of flavor with the perfect amount of heat. Momma’s Hot Pepper Jelly is sweet and mild but the flavor from the jalapeno peppers provides just enough kick to keep you wanting more. We recently added Poppa's Trinidad Scorpion Pepper Sauce and Momma's Habanero Jelly for our customers who like it super spicy. And for the grill-masters and chefs we have Poppa's Secret Rub, an all-purpose seasoning for meat, seafood, poultry and vegetables. Additionally, we are developing a new flavor of hot sauce and seasoning.
Along with my husband Roosevelt, R&D Foods are the makers of hot sauce, hot pepper jelly and a dry rub, The recipes for the original flavors of hot sauce came from Roosevelt's parents. Additionally, we have added more products during our 8 years in business. We source as many of our products are we can from local producers and farmers. We enjoy making our goods and hope to be a leader in the specialty food category, providing quality products to consumers, restaurants and grocery stores.
