Rove Paper Soapsheets
Vendor
The Tafari Group, the parent company of Rove Biodegradable Paper Soapsheets, began upon notice of the lack of diversity within the supply industry. The Tafari Group is a Detroit-based supply company that supplies various size entities locally and nationally. We offer a wide variety of products from sanitary paper products to eco-conscious biodegradable paper soap.
Before COVID-19 our founder frequently traveled back home to Jamaica to visit family. Being that Jamaica is a developing country and often found here in the states, it is touch-and-go to find soap available in public bathrooms and there are no rest stops like in developed countries. In 2020, COVID-19 hit and birthed our hero product Rove Biodegradable Paper Soapsheets.
Have you ever been in a bathroom without soap or dry, caked-up sanitizer not cutting it? Wash your hands with our disappearing paper. Our Rove Biodegradable Paper Soapsheets are individual containers of 50 sheets of water-soluble paper infused with a soapy solution that disappears with water making it easy to wash hands. These paper soapsheets are highly portable, lightweight, and biodegradable perfect for use anywhere from traveling to camping. These TSA compliant paper soapsheets contain a patent-pending concentration of soap allowing for even half a sheet to produce tons of soap when lathered with water. To use, simply take half or a full sheet with dry hands, add to the palm of a hand, saturate both hands with water, lather for 20 seconds while the soapsheet dissolves onto satin suds then rinse with fresh water, bottled water, or faucet water.
Each wash will leave hands soft, aromatic, and smooth as every sheet has humectant and essential oils trapping moisture into hands. Sanitizer doesn't sterilize dirt, including feces, nor all germs and bacteria. Washing off dirt, feces, germs, and bacteria is the best solution to get hands clean reducing illness and virus spread.
We are all about empowerment for generational and tangible change not only in the hygienic space but in entrepreneurialism. Our company hires Detroit-based contractors and businesses for various projects and events. Our goal is to break barriers within the supply industry as a minority and woman-owned supply company. Our mission is to create jobs, decrease incarceration and eliminate recidivism within underserved and economically challenged communities via business programming and mentorship. Granting access to these resources will stimulate the economy and break barriers creating generational wealth within communities like Detroit. In addition, our mission is curbing illness transmission and hospitalization from dirt, feces, germs, and bacteria and increasing access to single-use soap in the US, Caribbean, and beyond through product distribution, philanthropy, and social programming.
Among current philanthropic efforts is our strategic partnership with @getgivz and other firms granting 10% of all purchases on rovefreely.com to various charities that serve underserved communities domestically and within the Caribbean.
