About

My sister and I have a dream to open our own bakery and tea shop, Right now we are working towards that dream by saving money, building a business plan, and finding a location. While we search for a place to call this business's home and while we save the money to make it happen, we still want to fulfill our passions and connect with our community at the farmer's market.
We have so many tried and true delicious baked goods that we can't wait to share with everyone. Pies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, coffee cakes, muffins, pastries, and scones. Most of these contain dairy but we has several delicious dairy free and vegan recipes as well. The other aspect of out business is refreshing and flavorful loose leaf iced tea. This is a major draw and a wonderful accompaniment to the baked goods.

Manager

Sarah and Rebekah Sanford
Sarah (right in photo) has always been incredibly passionate about baking. She loves the simple joy a cupcake or cinnamon roll can bring and enjoys sharing this with other people. Sarah baked cupcakes for all her classmates throughout school, then sold her goods at the Dubuque farmer's market, and finally managed a local bakery for 3 years. She has grown as a person and as a baker doing all this and is very excited about the next step.
Rebekah (left in photo) is similarly passionate about tea. Hot tea, iced tea, loose leaf, bagged, all kinds. She managed a tea shop for several years and there her love for the art blossomed. She has traveled Europe visiting tea shops and preparing to one day sell loose leaf and iced/hot tea at her own shop. She drinks it several times a day and somehow managed to get most of her friends and family into tea as well.
Both of us were working our dream jobs a few years ago, managing a bakery and a tea shop, But unfortunately both places had to shut down and we were devastated. Now we have a new dream: to run our own place together. We couldn't be more excited about this and are one step closer everyday. Connecting with the community at the farmer's market is a crucial next step in our journey.
