Founded by two female culinary scientists on a mission to reduce food waste, the company finds creative ways to use the parts of food we commonly throw away. Our aim is to create products that are sustainable, socially responsible and environmentally safe.
Reveal: Avocado Seed Brew was created to combat the 15 million lbs of avocado seeds that end up in US landfills each week, where they create greenhouse gases and toxins polluting the air, soil, and water. We want to change this narrative. Our patent-pending upcycling process extracts the nutrients inside the avocado seed and delivers them to you in every bottle. The seeds are then composted ensuring the seeds contribute to both the economy and the ecosystem! This company is proudly Philly based, minority owned, and women owned.

Reveal was founded by Sheetal Bahirat and Zuri Masud, two Drexel graduates who met on the first day of school looking to receive their degrees as culinary scientists. One day while making a bowl of guacamole in the kitchen we realized we were left with more seeds and skin than pulp. We had a lovely snack but we created so much “waste” in the process. That was the day we decided these gems were no longer trash. Reveal is our first line of beverages made from upcycled products and the worlds first upcycled beverage made from avocado seeds!
