Coddiwomple Canning Company is a Philadelphia based food preservation resource owned and operated by Kimberly Harrington and Brian Cauley. We are both long time restaurant professional who have a love of local, sustainable agriculture. Since 2016 we have been working with small family farms to preserve local, seasonal produce.
Using traditional and natural methods of preserving we greatly decrease food waste by creating shelf stable items that are viable for up to 18 months. We make a variety of products ranging from low-sugar jams and jellies, dried herbs, spices, seasoning blends and teas, various types of ferments, sauces, honey syrup packed fruits, as well as a selection of vinegars. All these items are made using no chemical preservatives or additives. These preserved items can then be included in the farms’ CSA’s, sold at their markets, or used in their own home pantries.
