My name is Andrea, but you can call me Dre! I started this small business amidst job loss and civil unrest during Covid 19. I wanted to use my creativity, experience in fashion and retail, and love of styling to do something meaningful. I handmade jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hat bands) with products sourced by women and BIPOC-owned businesses. I also work with local non profit organizations to create items to aid in fundraising efforts. I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, but currently reside in Indianapolis.
Hi! My name is Dre! I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, a 2005 Bishop Dwenger graduate. I moved down to Indianapolis during college for an internship, and have stayed ever since. I've worked in high end retail for 12 years, before moving to assist in the education program at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. After 3 years with the Symphony, I lost my job due to covid, and created my small business, Beads By Dre. I live in Broad Ripple with my husband and 2 dogs, and enjoy our local coffee shop down the street!
