Crocus Eatery

Crocus Eatery is made up of two Central Pennsylvania transplants that moved to the “big city” of Philadelphia, back in 2008. While going to college and growing up a bit, both Sean and Kate made the switch to a vegetarian, then vegan diet.

Crocus Eatery was born out of Kate’s cravings for her Gram’s food. There’s nothing like sitting down at a big table with all of your cousins woofing down meat pie and polishing off some roly-polys for dessert. While Philadelphia has plenty of PA Dutch food fixes, we’ve yet to find any vegan friendly options. Kate began vegan-a-fying her family’s recipes so she and Sean could still get some good ol’ home cookin’ in Philadelphia.

We believe that vegan products should have the same flavors, textures and substance as the “real thing.” We take pride in making our families’ home-style recipes vegan-friendly. We do our best to live a kind and sustainable life and want to support fellow creatures along the way.
