Farm Punk Salads is here to make eating local and healthy easy and convenient. With a seasonal subscription, customers will receive nutrient dense veggies paired with bomb-diggity homemade salad dressings, delivered to their doorstep weekly. Each week members will receive a mix of salad greens, additional seasonal raw veggies, a bottle of portioned dressing and either a bundle of herbs or bag of microgreens. Customers can sign up for the whole year for a discount or pay season by season. By creating a product that is ready to consume without other needed ingredients, we act as a halfway point between a traditional CSA share and a grab-and-go salad bar. Farm Punk Salads stands apart because we are both your farmers growing the vegetables and the culinary producers making the salad dressings. We are going for something new, a way of participating in food and community through a model that is inspired by the on-the-go urban lifestyle. Anyone can be a Farm Punk, it's a name meant asking for participation and sparking curiosity; a name representing the humans behind the work as opposed to the work being tied to a particular plot of land. We are a living, breathing, evolving entity, and Farm Punk Salads is seeking to by-pass tradition to make direct sales from producer to consumer a collaborative effort with practicality and sustainability at the forefront.

We operate on hand-scale using hand tools and a BCS. We grow crops intensively and with high density, focusing on quick turnover crops. We plant flowers for beneficial bugs to protect against pests as well as implement a rigorous cultivation/weeding schedule to keep on top of disease and pests. We are passionate about heirloom variety of seeds and only buy open-pollinated organic seeds from local seed companies. We care deeply about about soil health and grow high nutrient dense food by emending with compost, fish emulsion and feathermeal.
Quinn Richards & Theus Weiskopf
Quinn, an artist who picked up farming, and Theus, a farmer who picked up an artist, together have come together to form Farm Punk Salads.
Quinn, a whimsical loud mouth, started out by pursuing 3-D art and has transformed her practice into growing food as art. Seeking to push the limits of what farming in the 21st Century looks like, she wants to blend art, farming and technology to make a farm model that evolves as society does by moving towards convenience and creating a CSA share that is easy to assemble without any other ingredients required. In her spare time she actively pursues her curiosity of flavor in food by making unique ferments, eating hyper seasonally and developing intuitive cooking skills. With a twinkle in her eye Quinn embraces the paradox of life, silly and serious at the same time. Whether it be hot gluing googley eyes on ridiculous craft projects or diving in deep into emotional side of the human experience, she fully embraces life with all its twists and turns and attempts to dance her way through it.
Theus, and equal opposite, is a very thoughtful human, facing challenge with a smile and willing to dive into the harder parts of life. He pursues a rich and deep relationship with the land, drawing from a variety of interests he finds solace in the stillness and working behind the scenes to draw out the complexities and intricacies of the human experience. When not in the garden, he enjoys a rich meditation practice, writing, reading, conversation, jiu-jitsu and other movement practices.
