About
Swift Cider makes delicious hard cider with local apples! We also produce hard seltzer, hard kombucha, hard water kefir and cider cocktails! We are based in the Piedmont neighborhood of NE Portland where we have a taproom. Our mission is making hard cider that cultivates creativity, community and sustainability. We're named after the Chapman Swifts that visit Portland each harvest season.

I'm the founder and head cider maker at Swift Cider. I've been making cider for 12 years, and prior to starting this business, I worked as a teacher, kombucha maker, draftsman and organic root beer brewer. My passions include fermentation, slow food, good music, apple farming, architecture and art. My enthusiasm for dancing far exceeds my skill. I was born in Bend, but love calling Portland home.
