About
Emerge exists to fight poverty with dignity.
Our mission is to help organizations launch local food systems that reduce poverty with dignity. Isaiah 58:10 says "if you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness and your gloom be as noonday". Since our beginnings, relieving poverty and bringing hope,while preserving the dignity of the individual has been what compels us.
We believe fully in long-term solutions that prosper local economies. And, a practical expression of Isaiah 58:10 to feed the hungry is best served with practical and ongoing solutions that provide jobs and bring dignity.
We grow the best tasting lettuce you will eat in our aquaponics greenhouse. We sell to local Colleges, restaurants, and individuals. We have a farmstand on our property and we have tour opportunities as well as opportunities to come and help us harvest by volunteering throughout the week.

The Emerge Team are the coolest folks you'll meet. Many have lived in several countries. We have a team that is committed to fighting poverty with dignity. We are building aquaponics systems in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. Our founders have been to over 60 countries and are committed to providing food and jobs and hope around the world. We are a team that is committed to bringing hope. This hope comes in the form of the following: one bag of lettuce at a time, one prayer at a time, and one aquaponics system at a time.
