Angela Deiss is a graduate of the East Carolina University School of the Art, finishing up her Undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. During her time at East Carolina University she studied photography, graphic design, metal design, painting, textiles and ceramics. Blue Cava Art is in the Coastal region of North Carolina. Blue Cava Art is sold in stores worldwide. Although Angela loves doing her artwork, she is also well known for her work as a an Actress in film and television. Angela has been active in film, television and theater, where she has enjoyed helping on set and onscreen for over 30 years. Her experience allows her to help in different areas of the industry onscreen as a principal actress, background actress, artist for set design, hair, wardrobe or as an on set Medic. Angela enjoys the versatility her experience allows her to play and enjoys film and television. She has additional training in Emergency Medicine and is a Licensed Paramedic in North Carolina. She also has an Associates degree in Cosmetology.
Acting career: Through SAG, Angela performed in a recurring principal role as Susan Sackler in Beth Macy's 8-episode series Dopesick, that aired in the Fall of 2021 on Hulu. In 2021 Angela also had several principal film roles, one which won several awards at the SAG DC- 48 where she played Mob Boss Jane Tennally in The Tennally's. Another notable Principal film role in 2021 was Mendez Wife in Apple Studio's film Raymond and Ray with Co-star's Ethan Hawke, Ewan McGregor and Oscar Nunez. Also in 2021 Angela was privileged to work onscreen and off screen with two Hollywood legends - Daphne Maxwell Reid and Tim Reid in the film The Business of Christmas II as a supporting actress. Over the summer of 2021 Angela spent time filming Tapawingo with Jon Heder and Kim Mutula as a supporting actress. In 2022 Angela appears on Apple Studios television series, Swagger Season 2. Angela was honored to be Assistant Director at the SAG Richmond-48 2022 for the UnderDog Team on Always and Forever. Always and Forever won Best Actress, Audience Choice award, Best Prop, Best Poster and Invitation to Seattle.

Also in 2021 Angela played Mob Boss Jane Tennally in The Tennally's that won several awards at the SAG DC- 48. She also co-starred Oscar Nunez in another notable principal film role as Mendez Wife in Apple Studio's film Ray and Raymond with Co-star's Ethan Hawke and Ewan McGregor. Dopesick Co-star Andrew Brooks wrote and directed What Would Picasso Do, in which Angela portrays principal role Clair's mother. Angela was privileged to work onscreen and off screen with two Hollywood legends - Daphne Maxwell Reid and Tim Reid in the film The Business of Christmas 2 as a supporting actress. She also had fun over the summer of 2021 filming Tapawingo with Jon Heder and Kim Mutula.
Angela has additional training in Emergency Medicine and is a Licensed Paramedic and has an Associates degree in Cosmetology. She also owns a Boutique in Ashland, Virginia. She love spending time with her husband and step children and writing to her sponsor child B-Rumba in Kenya.
