Helen wanted Tunisian food, a cuisine which is rather unknown internationally, to emerge and radiate her love for authentic Tunisian recipes couldn’t be satisfied anymore because she couldn’t find places that sold things like Tunisian Anise seeds Biscotti, chickpea meltaway( gluten, diary free cookies) or makroud (filled semolina cookies with dates). This encouraged her to participate to her local farmers market located in Burke, VA

Biscotti & more by Helen is my way of sharing Mediterranean goodies from Tunisia with everyone in the states. It all started when Helen recreated her own biscotti recipe that she would make frequently for family, neighbors and friends, their response was overwhelmingly positive. They were even willing to pay money to have her sweets at their own family and friend gatherings! That’s when the idea of Biscotti & more by Helen came to light.
