Beijo Snacks

Beijo Snacks is a startup that makes brigadeiros. We started selling brigadeiros at farmers markets in Washington, DC in 2019, where customers loved them. In fact, we sold out at our first market! Soon afterwards, we moved to northern Virginia. In 2022, we sold at the Burke and Kingstowne markets in Fairfax County, and once as a pop-up vendor at the Mosaic District fall festival in Falls Church. We were very popular - in fact, we often sold out of most flavors! This year, we're looking to expand the number of markets where we sell in Northern Virginia. Brigadeiros are traditional dessert bites from Brazil, and they are part of most celebrations. A brigadeiro's base is made of condensed milk and butter, which is used for every flavor, starting with chocolate. Coconut flavor (my favorite) are called beijinhos ("little kiss"), which is where our company, Beijo Snacks, derives its name. They always make people smile because they taste so good. In Brazil, they are found anywhere: from birthday parties, to grandma’s house, even at restaurants. It is our mission to provide customers with the tastiest desserts!
