Mane Rhodes is a small made in DC business. I bring awareness to Mental Health and Self Care by sharing my journey of thriving with a Mental Health Diagnosis through my soaps and beauty products. My soaps tell a story with their names and designs. Like my market favorites Dark Passenger, Hello Sunshine (Also Known as B*#&^H Get Up), Racing Thoughts, and Pretty Ugly. I have kick my dark passenger out of the driver seat and put her in the back seat. I may be depressed but I still have a family to feed and responsibilities. Mane Rhodes is removing the shame behind Mental Health Disorders, and empowering my community to have open conversations starting with a bar of soap called Dark Passenger that is visually stimulating, smells tantalizing, and evokes mystery. I am a returning citizen that want to inspire others to never quit never give up.

I am a survivor of domestic violence and am thriving with a Mental Health Diagnosis. I am a lover of humanity and it's my duty to share what I have learned and over come, so the ones who are still suffering know they to can over come. They too have the power of change. All the trauma, hurt and pains will be turned into triumph. I want the world to know that we get to decide who we are in this world in spite of the negativity. I am a first responder for Mental Health Crisis as a Certified Mental Health Specialist, and a Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist. I focus on the least of us on this planet, thus they be forgotten. I will use every bit of energy to empower others who are struggling with Mental Health concerns, substance abuse, domestic violence, homelessness. Mane Rhodes will create jobs for other returning citizens and peers to give them second chance opportunities.
