Fig and Honey Bread Co.

I'm classically trained as an Industrial Designer with double minor in graphic communications and marketing. I grew-up in a small town in Washington State, Walla Walla. After 18 long years there I transplanting myself to Center City Philly to finish college. I ended up staying there for almost 15 years until deciding I wanted to go back to being a ski bum and got a job in Sun Valley Idaho. I lived and worked there in the non-profit world, where I used my graphic communications and marketing skills in development and marking. Life of course opened other doors and I changed careers and became a ski patroller for Sun Valley Company and became an EMT the year before the pandemic hit. A that time I met my now husband with in a short year and a pandemic hitting the world I became a military wife. That year I moved to southern california to join my husband on a remote base in the Mojave Desert. As a long time baker and cook I really honed in on my baking skills. Being extremely remote I started baking for my community. I have always dreamed of being my own boss and contributing in some way to my community. Fig and Honey Bread Co was born. Not long after I started putting F&H together we PCSd (military move) to Virginia. My husband is an Active Duty Soldier in the United States Army. He is stationed at Fort Myer, we live on Fort Belvoir with our two beautiful doggos, Harper and Maggie. I'm an avid skier, hiker, traveler, EMT, military wife, Jewish women and animal lover.
