About

Tampopo Farm is a small scale, 2-acre farm in Sequim, WA using minimal tillage and organic growing practices. We are excited to offer beautiful mixed flower bouquets and to spice up your salad! The word tampopo means dandelion in Japanese. Dandelions are a symbol of resilience and their deep taproots heal overused, compacted soil.

Production Practices

We grow on land that has been farmed organically for several years. Our farm is not organic certified at this time, but it is a goal for us. Meanwhile, we follow the guidelines to become organically certified - such as using only OMRI certified products and not applying harmful pesticides. We practice low tillage - using hand scale tools to have a lighter and more restorative impact on the soil. If you have any questions about our growing practices, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Manager

Teresa Shiraishi & Matt Rohanna
We started Tampopo Farm as a shared dream to bring more good food and beautiful flowers into the world. Matt is from a small coal town in Pennsylvania and has farmed in this region for several years. Teresa is from Washington and flowers hold a special place in her heart. After working on other farms for many years, we are excited to start our own and let our vision become a reality.
