Description
A honey bee going about its daily routine randomly collects pollen, and stores it on their back legs before returning to their hive. This is their protein food source, and is stored in abundance usually during the spring of the year. Specialized equipment is used to collect the pollen, and we remove excess moisture before packaging. Because pollen is the honey bees food source, it is a limited supply product. First come first served.
Propolis is collected by the honey bees from the sap of plants and trees. The resins are then used by the honey bee to seal and fill areas in the hive. It presents itself as a sticky substance that glues the components of the hive together. During harvest and regular maintenance, propolis is removed by the beekeeper. It is collected seasonally and available upon request.
