Bees Wax Candles

Beeswax is secreted through a gland on the underside of worker bees, making it an all natural product. (Non- hazardous, Non Carcinogenic, Solvent Free). This 100% natural fuel is scented by the nectar of flower’s packed into the honeycomb by honey bees, and when burned emits a subtle fragrance. The flowers (nectar and pollen), gathered by the bees, determines the depth of color in the wax. The primary differences between beeswax and other types of candle waxes are beeswax candles burn brighter, longer, and cleaner than any other candle. The flame virtually emits the same light spectrum as the sun and in the process of burning, negatively charged ions are released which helps clean the air.

Beeswax is collected by the beekeeper during the harvest. At Queen Bee Company, we uncap the honey stored in beeswax by removing a small portion of the wax with a sharp or hot knife. The capping’s, as they are referred to, are then cleaned, warmed, and filtered prior to pouring the natural product into candle molds, lip balm, soaps, and other cosmetic products.
