Stone Soup PDX

Stone Soup will be selling 7-8 different seasonal, fresh/refrigerated soups. All soups are seasonal, vegetable focused and sourced from local farms. The soups will be sold in plastic quart containers. Our goal is to source produce from PFM farms to create stable, long term sources of revenue for farmers. Stone Soup is a non-profit culinary workforce development program. Our mission is: Stone Soup empowers people experiencing barriers to employment to achieve self-reliance through training for careers in the foodservice industry. Our goal is to source produce from 2-3 PFM farms to create stable, long term sources of revenue for 2-3 farmers.

In addition to helping to create stable revenue streams for local farms and making excellent soups, Stone Soup hopes to create a work model that can provide stable employment for its participants who are experiencing barriers to employment.
