"Four Girls Walking" is inspired by much-needed positive news coverage about black children and families in urban neighborhoods that depict them as vibrant and important to urban renewal efforts. The girls blending as one with their surroundings. We see them donning newsprint trousers representing a more intentional move toward including black images in the news in a more positive manner.
