We’ve handcrafted (and tested on ourselves) this bug spray to ensure it’s effectiveness. We’ve sat in mosquito filled swamps and weathered the no-see-ums at dusk, all with the goal to create the perfect, safe, pleasant smelling, and effective bug spray. We did it. This is it.

Our bug spray is made WITH:

Organic Safflower oil. This oil is loaded with a naturally high level of Vitamin E. Safflower oil has high linoleic acid, meaning it won’t clog doors and actually helps to balance sebum levels. It also contains high levels of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids which are imperative for optimal skin function and appearance (not that we care about appearances). Safflower oil is great for all skin types.

Our key ingredients include:

Organic Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil helps to reduce inflammation, helping to reduce the reaction from bites you currently have. It’s more moisturizing than safflower oil, which is why we add it in to give your skin a bit more moisture. Coconut oil is fabulous for healing and moisturizing the skin.

Citronella Oil: Citronella is the holy grail of bug repellant. All of our sprays contain this oil. Citronella is also a great anti fungal and anti parasitic. It also helps to promote wound healing.

Lemongrass Oil: Lemongrass oil is known to enhance overall skin texture from cleansing and detoxifying the skin and pores to eliminating excess oil from the skin. The antioxidant properties of the oil aid in neutralizing the free radicals and promoting the skin's suppleness.

This bug spray also contains patchouli oil, rosemary oil, and eucalyptus oil.

We often forget that our skin is an organ - it’s actually our bodies largest organ. We absorb so much through our skin, much of it we don’t even realize. Now you don’t need to weigh the risk of being bitten over enjoying time outside.

We pride ourselves in using reusable packaging and encourage you to find a new use for your bug spray bottle once you’ve finished with it. Just rinse out with warm water and a mild soap before reusing.

Safe to use on children and on your pets coats. Safe to apply anywhere on your body, except in your mouth, because that would taste horrible.
