I invented a process to create gemstones out of recycled cds. I use wire wrapping to make lightweight eco-friendly jewelry. I sell my handmade jewelry at art and craft shows all across the southeast.
I live in Cookeville, Tennessee. I started making "CDlite" gems after cleaning my house and finding a large stack of CDs that I was no longer listening to. I was hesitant to toss out so much material, so I started to play with it to see what I could get it to do. after some spectacular failures, I eventually honed in on a process that achieved the results I was hoping for.
