Playa Paper
Vendor
Playa Paper is a stationery shop based out of my home studio in sunny St. Pete, FL. I make cute and clever handcrafted greeting cards, invitations, boxed notecards, letter writing paper sets and other paper goods for everyday occasions and holidays with free postage stamps included. “Playa” means beach in Spanish and my paper goods are inspired by our beautiful Florida beaches and my passion for pretty paper, postage stamps, and snail mail.
All Playa Paper cards are designed, printed, folded, hand-finished, and packaged by me. There are several things in my production process that make Playa Paper products special:
First, all of my greeting cards include free postage stamps. This helps my customers avoid long post office lines and ensures their cards will be mailed.
Second, each Playa Paper greeting card is individually handcrafted with a gem or a dash of glitter for a vibrant accent.
Third, all of my paper products are individually printed on high quality paper with long-lasting archival digital inks in my home studio, so your memories will last a lifetime and you are supporting a local, proudly Made in America small business.
Fourth, all Playa Paper products include matching colored envelopes for a colorful experience.
Lastly, I make hard to find, original cards for niche consumers including sports fans, pet owners, gay couples, Latinos, Spanish speaking consumers, our military and couples in interfaith relationships.
Vikki Gutierrez Isaacson
My name is Vikki and I the owner and founder of Playa Paper. I have been making greeting cards and invitations, hitting stationery shops all over the world and collecting postage stamps since I was a little girl. I officially started Playa Paper in 2013 after a successful career as a marketing executive in the food and beverage world. It was fun, but cannot compare to how I spend my days now.
Today I spend my days -- and nights -- doing what I love. All Playa Paper cards are designed, printed, folded, hand-finished, and packaged by me. I sell my Playa Paper products locally at the Saturday Morning Market, at arts and crafts festivals throughout the Tampa Bay area, at the St. Pete Visitor's Center in downtown St. Pete, Florida and internationally through my online Etsy shop.
When I’m not making pretty paper goods, I can be found eating sushi, riding my beach cruiser to the post office to pick up the latest postage stamps or snuggling with My Husband on the couch while we watch Korean Dramas together. xx
