I've lived in Tampa since 2003 and am married with 3 daughters. We live in New Tampa with a dog named Ranger, 3 cats, and a bird. We love being outside: hiking, boating, and taking care of nature. This is what sparked the passion driving the company. Our middle daughter has severe asthma- so we have always been careful with what we have brought into our home- no fragrance, no chemicals, etc. During the pademenic we have had to be as distanced as possible to keep her safe, so we spent a lot of time on the water. We would take the boat and bop from island to island and we would pick up countless bags of trash. We would run out of bags and the trash would have to be left behind because there was no where else to put it on the boat- it was awful. One day, the girls and I decided that we could do something about this problem. We could teach poeple how to make a difference and offer the tools to do so. I pitched the idea to SmartStart and the rest is history :-)
