15+ years of culinary experience with a concentration in pastry. We use fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown at Wandering Gardens as well as locally sourced ingredients to create pastry, quiche, and delicious gourmet fry pies.
Rae Dobbins
Rae Dobbins has been in the restaurant industry for over 15 years with a concentration in pastry and cake decorating. Her past employment include K Paul's in the French Quarter in New Orleans as well as Pure Cake in the same beautiful city.
She ran a successful cottage cake business in North Carolina for several years, honing her cake crafting with a specialization in three dimensional carved cakes and themed fondant figures.
Her adventures also brought her to the world of cupcakes here in Indiana, first as head baker for the Cupcake Camper in Noblesville, where her chocolate cupcake was voted best in the city by Indianapolis Monthly in July of 2010. She then worked for Holy Cow Cupcakes in Carmel, IN.
Pastry and catering are now her main focus, crafting one of a kind small scale events for customers as well as running a once weekly pop up farmstand that boasts a rotating seasonal menu of pastry and baked goods.
