Hi there, I'm Kierstyn!
I am a creative business professional with extensive experience in business management, design, and client relations. I am the owner and founder of More Than Cotton, a crochet business with a focus on custom, handmade clothing. I work one on one with clients to design and create high-quality pieces that are tailored to their style, focus, and measurements. My strong work ethic, commitment to service, and relationship building skills have allowed me to successfully and significantly grow my business over the last four years, and I am so grateful to bring my dream business to life every day!
I have substantial experience in education, which has led me to a focus of sharing my passion for crochet through teaching! It is one of my favorite parts of my business and brings me so much joy. I offer one on one crochet lessons both in person and virtually, as well as beginner group classes and online courses. I also work with local schools to provide after school crochet programs where I teach crochet basics, plan weekly projects, and emphasize community as we create pieces that are donated to charities.
Growing multiple businesses has pushed me not only to become a better professional, but also a better person. I love the daily challenges that constantly drive me to grow and make a positive impact in those around me. The relationships that I am consistently building are extremely important to me, and serving others is not only a strength of mine, but a passion.
