My name is Myrlande, most people call me Mimi because it is easier to pronoun. I'm a 26 years old women that lives in Tampa FL. I founded MYET Protection on the realization that people in this world can throw you a curve ball at anytime. I personally had to deal with uncomfortable situations that I felt vulnerable and helpless. Back in those days, I didn't think about the importance of carrying self defense products and I wasn't prepared for the unexpected because I never thought anything would happen. Now to this day, my mind set has completely changed after seeing stories about women violence increasing. Those stories has really open my eyes about the importance of having protection especially for women. At that moment the idea of MYET Protection came to mind. I did research on trending fashion self defense items. I started creating self defense keychains for my family and close friends. Then I started my own website and participated in local vendor pop up markets. And since i've been dedicated to providing the very best products that can help benefit others.
