Lake Divide Farm
Farmer
Jim Neumann and Helen Chandler, partners in marriage and business, own and operate Lake Divide Farm. Located in Jackson County Michigan, the farm is named for the unique way the Huron and Upper Grand watersheds divide the property in half. 2019 will be our third year farming in Michigan, after four years running Whistling Wolf Farm in New Jersey. Through our inaugural season, we got our organic certification through Ohio Ecological Farm and Food Association (OEFFA) and began laying the groundwork for a lifetime of friendship and stewardship within our community. We are eager to continue forging relationships and carrying on the work of caring for our environment. We are committed to farming the land sustainably and preserving the natural ecosystems that predate our arrival.

Fun fact: I was a Surveyor in NJ for about 10 years prior to my life in agriculture.
